Getting to Ráquira is easy, whether by car or public transport.
From Bogotá: Take a bus at the transport terminal with a direct destination to Ráquira for $45,000 COP. The journey takes about 3 hours approximately. If you can't find a direct bus, you can take one to Tunja, Boyacá, for $40,000 COP, this takes about 2 hours, and from there a local bus to Ráquira
From Tunja: If you are in Tunja take a bus at the transport terminal with a destination to Ráquira, This costs $10,000 COP and takes about 1 hour approximately
In a private car: If you are in Bogotá, take the north highway towards Tunja, Once in Tunja, follow the signs towards Villa de Leyva and then towards Ráquira or if you find it easier use Google Maps, it is perfect for national routes.
Tip: If you are from Villa de Leyva, there are direct buses that take you to Ráquira in just 30 minutes and cost $8,000 COP.
