Taganga is located just 5 kilometers north of Santa Marta. This proximity makes it a perfect destination for a day trip or a longer stay
The first thing is to get to Santa Marta, then ask which is the closest part of where you are the bus that goes to Taganga passes. This bus has as route: Kra 11 Taganga and will take you to the village in about 15 minutes. The ticket has a value of $2,500 COP
If you are looking for comfort you can also take a taxi that will take you for $15,000 COP approximately, although the price will depend on the distance, so ask the locals how much this journey could cost.
Finally, we recommend you tell the driver to drop you off at the Taganga viewpoint. It has breathtaking views that are worth visiting and then you should walk about 10 minutes to reach the village of Taganga
