How to get to the Mundo Marino Aquarium

Getting to the Mundo Marino Aquarium is very easy. We'll tell you how:

  • From downtown Santa Marta: Take a bus to El Rodadero and ask the locals for the nearest stop. The journey takes between 15 and 20 minutes and the bus costs $2,300 COP throughout the city. If you prefer more comfort and avoid waiting, a taxi is an excellent option.

  • From Simón Bolívar Airport: The aquarium is only 10 km from the airport. You can take a taxi or, if you prefer a cheaper option, there is also a bus at the airport that goes to Santa Marta. Just tell the driver to drop you off at El Rodadero.

  • On foot: If you are in El Rodadero, you can walk to the aquarium, as it is very close to the main hotels and the beach.
