Tierradentro is located in the Andean region of southwestern Colombia, specifically in the municipality of Inzá, department of Cauca. This place, which seems out of a fairy tale, is located approximately 110 km from Popayán, the capital of Cauca.
From Popayán: Take a direct bus from the Popayán terminal to the municipality of Inzá. The journey takes between 4 and 5 hours and costs approximately $50,000 COP.
From Bogotá or Medellín: If you are traveling from cities like Bogotá or Medellín, the most practical thing is to take a flight to Popayán or Neiva. From there, follow the road route to Inzá.

Change your money to Colombian pesos before leaving the main cities. In Inzá and its surroundings there are no exchange houses and the use of cards may be limited, as well as access to mobile data. Make sure to carry cash.
